Fitz Roy National Park

What a beautiful and rewarding view I had after a challenging hike in the Fitz Roy National park, Patagonia. The return walk was 22km. The wind in Patagonia can be very strong. Expect to have four seasons in one day. In the end it is so worth it. Look at the stillness of this ice glacier lake and how it mirrors the snowcovered Fitz Roy mountains. Patagonia took my breath away.

Hello from Ushuaia

'Hello everyone', said this little penguin from the beagle channel in Argentina. You can take a boat trip from Ushuaia through the beagle channel and stop at this penguin island. The scenery with the snowcovered mountains in the background is just beautiful.

Getting up early to see the beautiful sunrise is so worth it. I saw this mother with her daughter watching the sunrise and I couldn't help myself to take a photo as a silhouette of them. Shortly after the sunrise it started raining. What a lucky start of the day.

New York panorama

This NYC skyline panorama was taken from Brooklyn, Williamsburg. The gate was about to close but I could not leave New York without taking a photo of this colourful skyline. I was talking to myself that I will be fine. I quickly got my tripod and camera ready, steady go and shoot. I was a bit nervous in case I get locked in the park. I never took a photo that quickly. Lucky I made it just before the guards came to close the park.

Ready for a morning swim in Cronulla? It was Good Friday when I was going down to Cronulla beach to take photos of the sunrise. Lucky the rain waited until my shooting finished. I was about to head home when I saw so many swimmers to enter the ocean. What a great way to start a day.
